A finished goal

I've finished this baby quilt a couple of weeks ago, but never got the time to take a picture!! I am just in love with the binding of this adorable baby quilt, it gave a whole new perspective to the whole quilt!!! Don' t you agree?
Materials
I have used two print charm packs for the cuttie: 1. Cape Ann from Moda fabrics and 2. Hoo's in the forest by Riley Blake. And I also used two solid charm packs from Kona. The background is Sage from Kona cotton and the backing is also from Riley Blake. The binding is a fabric I bought from Amsterdam and was really afraid of using it...such foolness...it looks amazing!Process
I quilted the whole quilt around the pinwheel squares in a straight line. And for the first time I tried machine binding (I always hand - bind my quilts) and it was heaven on earth...simply amazingly fast and very clean-cut...Now on this week's statistics
Dresden quilt: I left the handquilting for the winter.
Checkers quilt: basting.
Butterfly quilt: yes finally I am quilting this eternal UFO
Swoon quilt: piecing the top. another block is already finished..
Summary of this week's stats:
Completed projects -1
New projects -0 (I will not start a new project until I've finished all my UFOs. I promise!!!)
Currently in progress -4
Now it is your turn! Hop over at Freshly Pieced and take a peek on how everyone else is doing.
