Swooning

11:53 AM

I am officially on vacation...we are everyday at the beach swimming, drinking coffee...
The strange thing is that everyday I wake up at 6.30 in the morning, and because everybody is sleeping, I am relaxed enough, to work on my swoon.
It is my first attempt to make a swoon quilt, and oh boy!!... it is a huge quilt! I have no idea how the f...k am I going to quilt this thing in my small little Pfaff...I am seriously thinking of sending it to professional (But I have to find someone in Europe...if anybody knows please message me!!!)

I didn't have time to participate in the previous quilt-a-long, and I was so happy to hear for this new one...if you would like to participate, link your projects at the Flickr Group Swoon 2013.

Hi Zafeiro! What a gorgeous quilt! I love the blue background fabric in particular. It makes the other colours pop! :-) I am a longarm quilter in Geneva (Switzerland) and would be honoured to quilt such a beautiful quilt. I will send you an email with my details. Well done!!

  9. I've just made my first block and like you have come to the conclusion this has got to go to a longarmer. I'm in Ireland and don't know any yet either but I've got 8 blocks more to go before I have to worry about it. Looks great!

  11. I'm thinking of doing a Swoon with Amy Butler's Lark fabric line, and it was nice to see you using her fabric as well. Gorgeous, and love the blue solid.
