WIP for the Skill Builder BOM

10:03 AM

My first time EVER entering a BOM (Block of the Month) Quilt-A-Long! And I am really excited to be participating in this one, as it will last all year long, and the goal is to learn many many techniques and "build up" your quilting skills.
It is hosted and organised by Alyssa Lichner at Pile'O'Fabric.com,whom I have been following since she began her amazing blog. Thank you so much Alyssa for this wonderful QAL!
I went for a white background for these blocks, as I have a lot of spare white, but it also matched best with the small floral prints I wanted to use for this project.
You can view the progress of the BOM and its members at our Flickr Group.

  3. I was wondering how these blocks would look with fabrics that were not solids. They look beautiful. Are you curious too about the FMQ lesson tommorow?
