WIP: The Pinwheel and the Cold

6:58 PM

"Baby it's cold outside"...not only listening to the song (the Rufus Wainwright version) but literally it is cold in Peloponessus...and nobody is buying petroleum for the heater, only wood for their fireplace. Our house is really "windy" and no fireplace is enough to heat it. So we stay by the fireplace and far away from my sewing room. Everyday I transport the essential sewing supplies to a table next to the fireplace, in order to sew something!!!

Enough whining....I finished the top of my Pinwheel crib quilt...finally.
I used 2 Charm Packs, the Oliver & S "Cape Ann" and "Hoo's in the Forest" by Riley Blake. Of course the background is Kona cotton.

Working a lot on some tobacco pouches and pencil cases, some of which are available in my Etsy Shop.

Now my stats:
Currently in progress:

Butterfly quilt: preparing the backing
Checkers quilt: piecing whenever there is time
Dresden quilt: still hand-quilting

This week's stats:
Completed projects - 0
New projects -0 (but thinking of two)
Currently in progress - 4
